I get calls from this number and ignore them.
Have entered the name "DO NOT ANSWER!" in my cellphone, which takes calls switched from my home phone.
Another tactic when I am called from a solicitor.
I play the role of stalker and ask, "What are you wearing?"
If they describe innocuous outer clothing, "No. I meant what are you wearing under that?"
One woman told me I couldn't talk to her like that but I reminded her that she had called ME.
Just act real friendly and swarmy and see if you can get under their skin.
It seems to be a conservative push survey. The questions are trying to tell people that the congress is run by democrats, because they know everyone hates congress. These tactics are very popular around election time. They also gather information about your politics. If your answers tell them that you are a true conservative, then they log this information into there database and remind you to vote at election day. All this information is sold to political organizations. They don't need to peek over your shoulder on election day when you vote, they ask you in these surveys, and by election day they already know the answer. I do not respond to political surveys anymore
Started calling along with 971-220-1991, 425-390-8142, 404-397-1906, 772-224-3390, and 253-246-8590. Calls 4-5 times per day for the past week. Either doesn't say anything or the background noise is so loud I cannot hear a word they say. Finally had it and filed a national complaint against all of the above numbers.
Wow, you should borrow some of our so called "law Enforcement" soldiers. We have WAY too many. They sit in their cars and the office on their sell phones surfing porn or talking to thier misstresses. The only time they do anything is to prey on poor people or good people they know will do no ham. They should all be ashamed! You must be a cop. You guys have not been cut back enough. It is probably "law enforecement " making these phony calls. They all all worried now that we have our eyes open and can see all the waste and corruption!

Call received, hung up just as answering machine was announcing it's message, didn't wait until the beep (automated calls usually wait for the beep to auto-hang-up) . But what was weird was that there was someone driving by the house RIGHT after the call taking pictures of the house. Coincidence? Someone was taking pictures of the house last Friday too. Maybe someone checking to see if you're home and NOT answering your phone - maybe this person calls into some sort of automated service, enters in the %number-to-be-called% (my home number), waits for result, drives by and takes pictures if no answer?
