I am in the Orlando Fl area and Mr James Scotte just texted me last week from 813 320 6816. askig for decor services for his 20th Anniversary at a private residence in a nearby town of Longwood Fl . Very strange that someone I dont know texts my work cell # as our website only lists an 800 #. I texted him back and asked him to email me details for the event. He promptly did so and his details made the event seem real, although people don't usually ask about credit credit payments on the first email. Red flag #2. I replied with questions - one of which was how did you hear about us.. ( the only question he didnt answer) Red Flag # 3 . I Felt like I should check this out, so I googled his name, the address he gave and I looked up the owner on public records - NOT him, of course. I googled his email address and found this site! so glad I did. His name came up on another Colorado Musicians Forum site as well - saw his scam there too. He has moved on from Musicians to decorators.
Scammer James is now is looking for therapy for his three children and willing to pay $9600. Blocked him from my phone. Happy this is online to help me make a good decision. BTW, he's a "cancer patient," and in the hospital, according to his latest rant.
