*** SCAM ALERT*** I received a call from 312-546-3315 on June 25, 2010. An automated message called today saying that my unspecified "debit" card had been de-activated, and to re-activate "dial 1"...well I did just to see what would happen, and the automated voice instructed me to be ready to provide 3 things...the first was the credit/debit card number. I did not enter it, of course. I'm assuming they would have then asked for social security number, and B-day...then they would have all they need to suck the $ out of your account! Beware!!
we've been receiveing at least 2 calls a day for the past almost 2 weeks. I called the number to leave a message to stop calling, but got the message, Please leave your message after... I'm sorry... this mailbox can't accept more messages. An error has occurred.
I received calls at work from this number a couple times per day for a couple weeks. After reading this thread, I decided pick up and find out who it was. I spoke with Shelby who said she was with Xeta (http://www.xeta.com/) a telecommunications business. She's a solicitor. Seemed nice enough, but I'm guessing they just call and call until they get an answer. Told her she could email me information, but that she didn't need to contact me again.
