This number texted me but called me by a name only my close family know me as. It said someone was talking to me and directed me to an app on the app store. If this company is trying to market their app, they are doing it in a very creepy way and I would not download the app after that weird spam.
Yah the same thing but what creeps me out is that it what my true friends called me by. I thought it was one of my friends cause some are from Chicago, but they all said it wasn't them. Clicked the link and it took me to the App Store to download a app. DO NOT CLICK THE LINK!!!!
Also received a text on my phone, Do not know anyone from Illinois or from the Chicago area. Not certain what scam this is but it is a scam. First example is that nobody would introduce themselves as "YO". Second, I think about my recently changed phone number, never had a problem prior. I will find this scammer by virtue I have the authority and time to find and adjudicate this piece of s%%%. Anyone that reads this beware and do not respond to any link. FEW MBA,PhD.
So someone ain't on my contacts called me by my nick name that few called me by... and I clicked on the link they send me. Some app and stuff, but I think this is their way of advertising. I think this is very creepy they even know my name TBH cuz I don't know anyone from Chicago. I would recommend to block that number
