This number texted me but called me by a name only my close family know me as. It said someone was talking to me and directed me to an app on the app store. If this company is trying to market their app, they are doing it in a very creepy way and I would not download the app after that weird spam.
I know it's creepy. They guy put my name as "Chunk". That's what my friends call me. After my name it had a baseball emoji. How tf does it know I play baseball? Creepy af. I was tempted to call the authorities
I got a message greeting me with Yo and my nickname" then said someone was talking about me on... And nothing else. I am from Chicago but didn't know the number and thank God I found this page. Now I can warn my friends and family about it!
Got a text from this number with the same message as other people, but I clicked the link because I wasn't thinking. I don't think it's anything harmful, it probably accesses contacts from people who have the app and then sends them the text. That might be how it gets people's nick names and stuff. Not for a fact, just a theory. Regardless, don't click the link anyway.
