Same think has happend to me. They almost got away with it. At first I was talking to a Chris Walker and then he says that there is an attorney who wants to speak with me which is Rosa Gilbert. When I refused her she tried to get smart and say that I will be picked up tomorrow at my home or work place all because I did not want to pay 1, 000 for a court cost to which I dont even know about. So if you reach a Rosa Gilbert or Chris Walker and that ask you to pay will a prepaid. Greendot pay pak or a Vinilla net prepaid card. DON'T DO IT!
To anyone just reading into all of this please note that these people are scammers, if you received a phone call fro them pry them for their info... Their address that they give is to the OAG in Chicago. Also as you can guess it is not their address. I have called the SOS in Chicago, IL and gave them all the info. I have also called the OAG for IL and my home state. I have also informed the FTC of the callers. I did research on the phone number and it is a VoIP which is a voice operated IP address... This means that they are calling you from an online software program which means they think they can not be traced. News to them all VoIP are traceable even if they go through multiple towers to get to your phone. IF YOU GET A CALL FROM THEM CALL THE OAG, FTC & YOUR LOCAL GOVERNING AUTHORITIES to FILE AGAINS THEM. DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY MONEY.
