I got a call from this number also. Same IRS scam. If the IRS were after you, you would receive a legal letter in the mail, not a automated phone message. Blocked number...Is there not a real government department that can be notified about these scams?
I received a voice mail of a recorded message, robotic I think, informing me a case was being built against me by the IRS. I was instructed to call this number. I deleted the message.
call stating they are from the IRS, I work for the IRS, FYI, the IRS will NEVER call you looking for debt repayment. Call back number redirects overseas. Local authorities notified. Everyone that gets this phone call, please submit any additional information to the IRS.
Received call at 10:01 AM today (05/20/2016) using a recorded female voice stated the IRS was preparing to sue me and I should call another "312" number to avoid the lawsuit. No case file number or any identifying info was provided.
same happen to me. I called give them a wrong name and address and they still tell me that I was been sued. is a scan, I wish to find out how can we stop this people. is not fair that probably they are stilling from people.
