The best way to stop an advisor from calling is to answer your phone and tell them. they cannot close out your file without this because you are on autodial... dont want calls? answer and tell them!
I got a prepaid phone and a contracted phone to use in a study. The phone numbers were not given to anyone. I wondered who was calling. I never answered the phones nor made any calls from them. Why would someone call the numbers and claim to know me or not leave a message? The first thing I do is type the number into my search engine, and that's how I ended up here.
I keep getting calls from 1-312-777-6590. Sometimes 2 or 3 a day, and sometimes they will skip a few days and start over again. I don't know anyone in the Chicago area. I have an unlisted number. They never leave a message. I don't recognize it, so I don't answer the phone.
I get 2 calls from this number every day for the past week and a half. I never answer it because I dont answer calls to a number I dont have it. If it's important they will leave and I will call them back. This number never leaves a message or anything. I get a call about 9 am and a call about 3:30 pm every day. I hate it and Im about to change my number because of this.
