Has to be a scam. I never ordered or inquired about auto parts.

I went online seeking a car part. I got a call from this number identifying themselves as "quality auto parts". for 45.95-$9.95 they report that they search their junk yard partners for your auto needs. I was given a different number (801-855-8232) to call the woman back when I had additional info they needed about the part. after reading above posts about expense I think I'll look for private parties instead
This morning ecieved a call from 312-878-9158. Didn't answer, and the calling party left a message. Checked 800Notes website service for unwanted calls. Saw the number was connected to an auto parts/salvage business in Chicago, IL, and associated them to a recent web search I'd made for a used Subaru tailgate. So, after checking my vm message, I called the number they left to contact them at and thanked them for their helpful/good-business-practice, follow-up call to see if I still needed/wanted their services. Informed them the part had been found locally (central Virginia) and no longer needed help finding the used tailgate. Then I thanked them for their helpfulness, as they hoped I'd consider using them again for my future used auto parts needs. ... P.S. Asked them to remove my number from their data base, which they said they'd certainly do. ... End of story.
