phone calls with no one on line when picked up.

A recording says "Thanks for calling. The survey you were called for is now finished". I get these calls all the time. WTF????? What BS! So sick of these crank calls! >:(

Scammer is trying to get a recording of your voice saying "yes" before they bill you for charges or utility services you don't want so they have a backup of your complicity. They will be calling every day from a different local area code. Do not answer calls from numbers you don't recognize, and hang up without speaking if you make a mistake and take the call. This is a major criminal undertaking...

Three calls today, all start with "this is Alison from the warranty department, can you hear me?"

Just called, no message.  I never answer call from unknown numbers.  Number in now blocked.
