Scammer is trying to get a recording of your voice saying "yes" before they bill you for charges or utility services you don't want so they have a backup of your complicity. They will be calling every day from a different local area code. Do not answer calls from numbers you don't recognize, and hang up without speaking if you make a mistake and take the call. This is a major criminal undertaking...
Answered phone and then no one answers.. then woman says I'm sorry having trouble with my head set .. then claim calling about a resort I visited - hung up after - sounds like a recorded voice - not sure if I was asked can u hear me because I tuned out once she talked about head set because I just got a call a couple of days just like this
Received call moments ago. Didn't answer and no message left. Not answering unknown #s. If important a message will be left. Morning news is warning people of scam. Caller is trying to get you to answer yes and is recording your voice only to use it against you in a false contract of some type and proceed to use against you to collect. This guy called me and didn't say anything. I called right back and was shocked that he answered the phone. This IS a working number and you should tee off on this idiot. I shouted nothing kind and said "your F'd....have your telephone number and am contacting Illinois District Attorney". Just did that today. I am absolutely willing to testify and press charges against scum like this.
