So this is a scam i almost got suckered in but luckily the red flags came up before i did something stupid. Paradox is not a licensed company they can not take you to court there is a statue of limitations on debts. Once i told them i reported them havent heard anything from them call your local bureau of credit reporting to file a complaint
received a call from an out of area number looking for someone to receive papers on behalf of my son. I called my son and he had received a call from 313-459-0025 and their mailbox was full. I have posted a warning to all our family that this is a scam caller. Why can't someone act on these scammers, obviously they leave a trail.
was called on my cell phone thats in someone elses name, but they wanted me. claimed to have papers for a legal matter but could not provide any info except a number and ref number. i called the number he gave me and it was a collection agency for at&t. said they have civil lawsuit papers waiting for me but still wanted to negotiate with me to pay. i told them to have me served. its a violation of the fdca to threaten to take me to court unless i pay. have not heard back from them.
