Called today on my cell phone. I have no idea who this is. No message is ever left. I don't answer calls from names and numbers I don't know. Only my immediate family has my cell phone number.
Got calls from this number, hang up on me the first 2 time, and the 3rd time went through asking for my credit card info for verizon payment. Here is the kicker, i hang up and called *611 right away, Verizon verified I have no past due, only one bill they hasn't send out yet, and the CS rep told me NOT to give credit card info on those calls....beware!
Verizon. They will start calling whether your bill is past due or not- even if they are receiving auto pay from your account.
Large companies make a lot of money on the interest they collect from their bank by having your payments in their account. If 10,000 customers over pay their bill because Verizon made a "mistake" telling you your account is past due they make a lot of money before they reimburse you. It's a sneaky little trick large companies use and it makes a lot of profit for them. Be careful and watch your bill closely.
been getting calls from this number. don't answer numbers I don't recognize. i had just made my payment and the balance was at zero. this 313 number told me that i had an outstanding balance of about 150.00 and was asking me to enter in all of this information....they are phishing because the 611 number @ VZ confirmed it.
Received a call from this number less than 10 days after switching to VZ. I have a $300 credit on my bill so I do not know why they would be calling me. Did not leave a message.
