They said i was getting a $200 gift card and information about identity theft protection for 24.95 and 1 time fee of 6.95. wtf? The guy was talking so fast that it was hard to understand him. I told him that i was fine and he said the information will arrive in 3 days. They knew my name address and phone # nothing else though? How do i block crap like this.?
I have been getting these calls saying they are going to send me free gas cards, and there is a small fee- that is as far as I have let them speak, then on Friday I was made aware ( by my bank) that my debit card was compromised, and my husband and I went to the bank, and there were 2 charges from a CGC consulting company and another 888# for $19.95- The bank had been aware that someone ( don't know who) had gotten my debit card, and was making charges. Luckily I have a good bank that caught it right away, I am assuming these two things are related. DO NOT ANSWER this call, and check your bank account right away if you do get these calls.
