They said i was getting a $200 gift card and information about identity theft protection for 24.95 and 1 time fee of 6.95. wtf? The guy was talking so fast that it was hard to understand him. I told him that i was fine and he said the information will arrive in 3 days. They knew my name address and phone # nothing else though? How do i block crap like this.?
This is yet another # in a now long list of #'s that have been calling my super secret friends only unlisted phone #. When a number comes up and doesn't leave a message I look it up and then block it if I read about on these types of boards. They have tapered off a little bit in the past few days and I hope they go away altogether.
I received calls from this number for 2 days now. I havn't answered them. But, when I called this number back I was told by the answering service to hold for the next available person. I think that this is a scam also, although I did not speak with anyone. I have received suspicious calls like this one in the past. PEOPLE PLEASE DO NOT BUY INTO THESE SCAMS!!!!!! They are out to charge your account. So please be careful when dealing with calls like this one. If you need any fraud insurance, then you need to deal directly from your bank.
