Actually, they are NOT exempt IF you specifically tell them that you want to be removed from their calling list, and that they are now subject to the DNC rules as you are now telling them not to ever call this number again. Note that you are making a note of the date and time of this request and notice. Ask for the name of the person you are talking to, and the name and address of the company and its CEO so you can confirm this request in writing. Usually they hang up before you can say it all, but most will take the number off their list as someone who warned them and will probably report them.
Received a call from this number, but did not answer. I DID call back the number and a recording answered. If you stay on the line you are given the option to be placed on THEIR Do Not Call list!
Didn't leave a message. Discovered that I had received a call a few days ago from almost the same number. Have set up a block for any phone number beginning with 313-757-67 (xx).
