these folks have been calling me all of the time....2-3-4x per day easily if not more.
my daughter answered the phone (she is only 6) and then handed off the phone to me....I listened to this lady and I was attempting to be as polite as possible but boy was she PUSHING in a MEGA way to send me either light bulbs or trash bags. I told her that my son's school has a trashbag fundraiser (true) and that we are good with trashbags well, of course, she went into the lightbulb speach and omg I just wanted to end the call ASAP and my DD came in saying her brothers were getting into something so I told the lady I HAVE TO GO and she was still rambling....no more than an hour later the phone rang again, I picked it up and just set it on the counter. Today, they've called 2x but I hate having hang up calls on the answering machine so I picked up the phone and just set it on the counter and just wait and eventually they will hang up. I think the next time they call back I will speak to them I am going to use something from www.funwithtelemarketers.com.....check it out, there are some dang funny lines to use on these people. If they are going to bug me, I am at least going to have some fun with and hopefull annoy them as much as possible to take me off their list!

My husband received a call from adhw over a year ago about giving a donation. He told the rep., he would give them five or ten dollars. They did not want that so the conversation ended. We started receiving phone calls every day 2 or 3 times a day. The rep. said my husband entered into some type of verbal agreement and owed them 35 dollars. A pair of scissors came in the mail some time later. One day I answered the phone and the person was saying they were trying to close this account. All we were thinking is what account? Stop harassing me.We told them numerous times to stop calling us. I asked the rep. what did she want me to do with the scissors and she told me, I could throw them in the trash, they did not want them back, because this was not about the scissors, it was about the commitment. My husband never agreed to anything .Now we have received a letter from Galaxy Debt Collectors. OH MY GOD. Are these people insane? And this is just the beginning. Stay tuned for more of the story.
If you're a high ranking employee, then why are you anonymous? Since you're bored, I can only imagine the rest of your co-workers and bored to and that is why they call, hang up and call again and again bothering folks who might have contributed to your cause once. However, we've all learned the hard way that one contribution means we're going to be annoyed mutliple times by pure rudeness, lack of respect for folks who have meaning in their lives and didn't particulary relish having hangup call after hangup call day and day out. Get a life and find something productive to do with your time.
I too was suckered by these people. They were selling scissors made by handicapped people. The scissors I received were made in China. I tried to return them to no avail. They sure seem like a bunch of crooks.
