Two calls to my cell at 1734 hrs. I never answer "Private Caller' or any phone number I don't recognize. If it's legit, they'll leave a message and I can choose to return the call. This spam calling is very frustrating. The national Do Not Call list is fit to be used as toilet paper for all the good it does.
The Federal Do Not Call List only limits Canadian Companies from calling those on the list...I think this list is then sold to foreign-US-based companies who then call everyone it...nice...
My apologies, not every American is as lowlife as these callers are.
Since this appears to be an international scam, you may be able to
wield more cloud as we Americans can against these bottom-feeders who
have been calling us. .
Please contact your government authorities (your cell/telephone provider
should be able to give you the appropriate agency). I would say that
complaints from another country would put some heat on our government.
If anyone has info as to who the caller is, or what Canadian agency
that complaints can be filed with, please post it here.
