Got the same thing, found on my front door, had to have done it very early in the morning. I checked the number online, asked a couple of neighbors too, and they all got the same thing. Nobody called the number because when you do you are verifying and supplying them with a valid phone number for them to call and then sell to other telemarketers. NEVER call a number, check it first!!! That is why when you answer or call it back, you get MORE calls but from different numbers. Don't know it...don't answer it!!! - Louisville, KY
My father brought me a post-it with the message, "I dropped by, we need to talk. Please give me a call. 314-301-8847 . He thought maybe it was from my boyfriend. First of all, it wasn't from my boyfriend. Secondly, this is the most creepy and cheap form of canvasing I've ever seen. No company name, no explanation. The font used is obviously trying to make it look like a hand written note. Seems like Canopy Construction is the name floating around from other complaints. WEIRD.
I found a white sticky note on my door with a copied message on it that saids" I dropped by we need to talk in blue ink someone wrote Adam. Please give me a call. Just below the message there was a hand written name Adam. Although I did not call it kind of creeped me out. So I passed the number on to my husband once he got off work. He then attempted to call the number to give wo ever this person was the business in the worse way. Needless to say the person held the phone but never said a word(mute). This number appears to be a landline telephone. I wont waste my time trying to figure it out. I just feel sorry for them if they come face to face with my husband. This isnt the first time I found this type of message on my door. If this is some twisted weak sales pitch they need to go try again dum [***].
