Called the first time and claimed to be Microsoft. I was unaware of the scam and stupidly followed through until they asked for money. I told don't them have a bank account, credit or debit card. They had spent about 1/2 and hour or better on the phone with me and the caller got desperate and gave himself away. So I laughed at him and hung up. The idiot called back after a few weeks and I just hung up. The idiot called back today and I cussed at him, called him out for being a scammer and told told him to get a real job. I tried calling the number back he called from and it is no longer in service. He probably will get a new number and continue to try and scam hardworking folks with actual legit jobs.
No, stating this is legit is bull. I guess it's good that as long as you're lying here, you're not attempting to scam people out of their money.
This IS a scam. Period.
These calls are ALWAYS. FAKE. MICROSOFT DOES NOT AUTHORIZE -ANY- 3RD PARTY COMPANY TO COLD CALL ON THEIR BEHALF. They've said so plenty of times (did you miss where I posted this above?) http://www.microsoft.com/security/online-privacy/avoid-phone-scams.aspx AND a 3rd party would NEVER, EVER be able to ID a computer with "problems."
yeah they are very nice :)
they provided me windows 7 ultimate on very cheaper cost :D I really appreciate that.
I bought windows 7 ultimate in only $249 and they provided me the best security system along with windows 7 :D
and if I face any problem with my computer, I just call them and they fix my computer :)
how good of them!!
Who ever they are, I don't even care coz they are giving the best services what Microsoft should do!! so I really appreciate their efforts and its worth of getting services from them.
