For some reason my post was flagged as post pending moderator approval. Maybe I should not have mentioned the brand of call blocker machine I own - sorry.
Truly, though, I wish more people would research the resources available to them - whether it be through their phone service provider, the type of phone system they have or call blocker machines.
I got the same call this morning but it was from a woman named Michelle and she could barley speak English telling me i was eligible for a 9000 dollar grant that i didn't have to pay back and we all know that doesn't happen.... big time scam
I received a call today, left voicemail, told me he was from the IRS to call him or gave my attorney call. I do not owe IRS anything. Person had a very strong accent.
I was called by this number offering the 9000 grant. I let him talk for a while before saying I wasn't interested and he cursed me out saying why did you [***] waste my time, etc etc. So I just sat in silence for a while on purpose to waste more of his time before he got tired of trying and hung up. He was a foreign guy, probably Indian, and definitely not professional. Lol
