I got the same call today from this lady she was telling me they were going to file a lawsuit against me and I had to pay 5,000 dollars but the information she was providing me wasn't legit this is a scam I also got treat hen they would be law enforcement that will arrest me in a hour if I didn't pay that amount
Called on my home phone, let message machine pick up. Only received automated voice replying to call this number

IRS will not call your home about tax issues ever. They send a official a notice by mail, every time. You can call them but they are not in the practice to make calls about errant issues.
This is why I do not pick up my phone to unknown numbers ever. I usually search unwon numbers like this on the internet first to see if they have complains about them. Sometimes i call them back on my unlisted phone and am prepared to hang up on them or ask a bunch of questions and waste their time.
Was called from a simular number yesterday claiming to be IRS, they called 3 times. I blocked the number and now today Im getting called from this 315 512 2279 SCAM. They use automated female voice to say the IRS is filing a law suit. Its a SCAM, the IRS sends mail only.
