The caller claimed he was from Navient. He seemed very unprofessional and didn't seem to know what to say. He immediately asked for my date of birth, but then I questioned him. He responded nevermind have a good day. Very suspicious... I recommend not giving out personal information.
This has been happening for the last few months but my Navient account of PAID IN FULL. My balance is 0! So why are these people calling me to tell me I owe them over a thousand dollars?! An unknown OR private number pops up, I have been ignoring and there is message. By law if I owe THAT much money and I haven't paid it, they are to send me a physical copy of my statement IN THE MAIL, and I have not recieved anything. These people are scammers and want your Social and account number, identity theft and you're giving it to them. Don't answer the call. If it's that important and REAL they will leave a mesage or they send you something in the mail.
They call everyday. If it's about my student loan, I will gladly pay it back when Al Sharpton pays his outstanding taxes, when Congress cleans up the wasteful spending using our tax dollars and when I get the same benefits that illegal immigrants get since I live in a sanctuary city.

It's Navient. The CID never shows who is really calling. FYI Navient has just settled a court claim due to harassing phone calls. Might be worth it for some of us. $200-350 I sure could use that kind of money.
Well, had you initiated your own lawsuit against them you could have received well over a $1000, but I guess you only need the lousy couple of hundred, or maybe a lot less because of what the lawyers will take out of the class action. Who knows, you might be lucky and get 50 bucks out of the deal.
