I bet that your WRONG!!!! They are licensed by the feds!!!! A 501c tax deductable charity in the eyes of the law!!!! Scam all the same but you will never get them to stop!!! I know as I worked for them 4 different times!!!
A caller of this organization called me today. I told him to "put me on your 'Do Not Call' list." He told me he is "exempt" from maintaining a 'Do Not Call' list. I have told them previously not to call me, yet they continue.
Caller asked me to send some brochures to my house and in return for a small donation for the decals. I said I give locally and I hungs up before anything came from him. People hear the word Police or see it on their caller ID and immediately have respect for the word. I wish the people on the other end did as well. Give locally if you want to give. Do not give to the Police Protective Fund. It is a scam!!!
I have asked the agent that calls from this number (317-592-9488) to take my number off their list please. Nothing happy, still I get calls at lease ever other day from Thanksgiving through today. If you can do anything please do it.
