I am also getting these calls from this number. The number is listed as being in St. Cloud, Minnesota. I have no idea who "Jefferson Capital" is or whether these people are the ones calling my cell (I'd love to know how they got my cell @ since it isn't listed!) but I ignore all of these calls and do not answer.
the keep calling and dont leave messages if one of our family members pick up they start asking for private information. when we dont give it they get rude and say they are going to serve us with a legal action for bad debt we only have one on our records and its from 6 years ago if they were legitimate they would send papers properly and there is a statute of limitations on this type of harassment too
I just received my first call from them. So, of course, I decided to look up the number here. So, I am holding my breath, I see from the other comments that I may have to deal with "these" people for a while....yay....not. I hope they don't continue to call and call.
This collection company is calling my parents. I think their name is "Jefferson Capital". Strange they are calling from this area code though because they are based in Virginia.
