I had the same thing happen 2 times a recorded message that does not identify themselves or the company they represent. The message is threatening and vague. They sound like it is scammers.
They left a fairly threatening voicemail, tried to come across as some sort of debt collector. I called the number back and a man answered, then put me on hold, only to disconnect the call.
They called and left a voicemail saying some person has some background record, yada yada, social security clean up, please call us back immediately before your record/social is affected. They're fishing for social security numbers. Scammers! Do not answer these people.
Robo call says to hang up if I'm not Ruby Castro, then female leaves vmail anyhow. She left vmail Fri & today. No answer when I returned the call Fri night. Her vmail finally answered today after 20+ rings. Given the "legal" nature of the call, vmail saying it was a law firm, mention of clients & social, it sounds like a debt collector. Told her I don't know who they're calling for, but this has been my # for over 10yrs so stop calling me.
