I had the same thing happen 2 times a recorded message that does not identify themselves or the company they represent. The message is threatening and vague. They sound like it is scammers.
I just received the same message as everyone above has been stating (Robo call, threatening, from Susan Fritz) except the person they are looking for isn't even related to me AND is deceased. I have no idea how they would even get my phone number since it is a family friend. I called back and it rang and rang. Since reading all your posts, I am going to block the number as well.
They called me and said 'they' whoever 'they' are have made numerous attempts to reach me and failed. They would not leave any identifying information - just said that they were expecting a decision to report. They said that if I didn't call back by a specific date the matter would be directed outside their office. So I didn't get the message by their date reported, but I tried calling back, just as others have stated it rang more times than what you would expect if it was really a law firm. When the answering machine picked up it did not identify any law office - it said it was the office - just the office - of Susan something - couldn't even understand what it said - but I very much appreciate all the responses - it's been very helpful.
