Called the home phone and the cell phone 15 minutes later. Cell phone is to keep in touch with family only. Coincidence? Maybe. We all are retired with no student loan debt, especially. Thanks for the information.
Call about once a week, then nothing for 2 weeks.Then call again/ Never leave a message. Answered one time they called and nothing but air on the other side, so hung up
they dont mmdc mrd they dont do any verifying that they have the right party .. just by name .. and my name is pretty common .. then he interupts. looks like a law suit waiting to happen...
Get calls at work from this number, never leave a message, hang up when I do answer and within a couple minutes after that call ends I receive another call immediately from 1234567898? I'm certain they are the same place but come on...leave a message or I'm not going to call back. What a joke!!
One thing I know about this agency is that they collect mostly medical bills on a client basis, (that's what they told me and the story checked out) mine was a medical bill and they have direct access to the information I left on the form I filled out at the clinic. I have a friend who is a collector in minneapolis and he said there are tight laws restricting them on leaving voice mails (in response to Sam).
In response to YOUKNOW, "get a real job?" In my case I was glad they called me because I never got the bill from the doctor because I moved and the mail didnt get forwarded. I got to it before my credit was affected. I wanted to pay my bill in this case. Not that I havent had bad experience with collections, getting called for a fraudulant claim really upset me but they dropped it when i called them on their [***].
Thanks for your helpful, and additional info. I think I will try calling back because I have enormous medical debt and I am filing a bankrupcy. If I tell them and give my lawyers info they will probably quit calling me.
