Called the home phone and the cell phone 15 minutes later. Cell phone is to keep in touch with family only. Coincidence? Maybe. We all are retired with no student loan debt, especially. Thanks for the information.
They called me about a medical bill and when I told them I wanted to work it out and make payments as my medical clinic that made the bill said they would work with me she demanded the full amount and then she tried to tell me that I owe more than what the clinic said and I had a lot more bills to pay then the clinic has on record which is not true as the clinic sent me a print out of all the bills i owe. The collection agency said even being disabled and can't pay the bill they are sending it to the attorneys office. I get $100 a month to pay rent and utilities and food how do they think I can afford to pay $2000 and I did not get any of the bills either and according to courts and my divorce my ex is supposed to pay 51 % of my bill and they don't care they just want their money and for one of the bills I have a total of 343 and they said it was 427 or something like that and I asked them where they got that number and she argued and hung up with me... I am reporting to better business bureau and made a call to the attorney they sent some of my supposed bills too as well and he too will be reported as well if he treats me the same way, I am trying to clear up a debt and my credit and cooperate but with them treating me like dirt only causes more stress on me causing my disability to be worse and I even told them to cease and desist and will send them that letter and the attorney and will then call the clinic back again and tell them I did that and would rather pay them instead. As per our rights in mn we are supposed to be able to do that... might have to contact legal aid on this one as well... this is discrimination against a disabled person trying to make things right.
Got call from 3202572340 around 7:30 pm. Lady ask for me, I answered. And she demanded payment on the spot, to which I replied what for. She said for medical bills for my wife. She gave me a name I never herd of. When I told her I didn't know this person she got mad and rude. She then changes the story and said it was for my clinic visits. I am never sick and have not visited the doctor in years. She then started ro say are you gonna pay or
what. I said why should I pay for something I believe isn't mine. She then said if you are not gonna pay than we will keep calling you and hung up. Don't know how collections work but I can't just give my credit card number to anyone who calls
And ask for it.
Never leave a message, so I looked them up here. I have a medical bill that was placed with them. With chronic medical problems, I will occasionally get behind. I owe $100. They REFUSED to allow me 4 payments and basically said if I didn't give the whole amount, they wouldn't deal with me. How can you refuse to take money from someone when they're trying to pay you? Makes no sense.
