Number called at 5am 7:10 am and 8am Christmas Eve morning when I finially answered he said with a thick Indian accent something was wrong with my Microsoft computer i laid into him to many bad words to type here and then hung up on him
Been receiving multiple calls from this number (caller ID shows cell phone from MN) approx every 20 minutes, beginning at 6:30 AM. Has happened on 3 separate days.
idiot called at 645 a,m,,went by the name of Mike with a heavy middle eastern accent ,guess its daylight in Pakistan. Don't believe they'll call back after I ripped them a new one...then again ..they're idiots...
These scammers can apparently spoof telephone numbers. The caller tells me s/he is from Microsoft Technical Services (Microsoft will not randomly call you) and that they have detected a problem on my computer. They want you to give them remote access to your computer. Never do this. They call at all hours of the days and night. I finally got fed up and told them they are frauds, liars, and to stop calling. Of course, they spoof another number and continue this practice, thus negating call blocking.
Any thoughts?
