I received a phone call from someone supposedly from the IRS saying they had conducted an audit on my tax records and had found a discrpeancy and I owed thousands of dollars and would be arrested soon. The person told me her name was "officer Suzanna Allen" and her badge # was IRM40391. She had a strong East Indian accent. I started to become very upset and the call either dropped or she hung up.
It is a scam, the IRS will send you a letter first. Jonathan Knight called me, told me he was a federal agent, from the IRS, well I call and they told me to ignore those calls. They are scammed from India. Do not send them any money. Tell them you called the IRS and they will never call you again.
Received a call from this number early this morning. A message was left to call regarding a law suit filed by the IRS. Must be a scam.The IRS would notify by mail.
