Consistently get a blind - dial "Unknown Name" with 321-304-9999 as the id.
Pressing any button seems to put me in a queue to talk to someone, but never seems to go thru.
I'm on the do not call list, which would be enforced by the government, excepting that the entire bureau has been gutted by the last administration. Not to worry though... when I find the location...
Received this call as well and pretended I was interested. When I asked for details about how it worked, the girl put some guy on the phone who said all I needed to do was give him my member number on the card and expiration date. He tried his best to dodge around calling it the credit card number. After a couple of minutes, I told him that I knew about this scam and even varified with Visa and was told by them they never do cold calls. Ever. He didn't know what a cold call was...quelle surprise lol. He then said, "Oh, youré not interested? You're just wasting the rep's time?" I said absolutely, you're wasting my time calling me. He then said he wasn't calling me, the computer system was. I told him in the most sarcastic voice I could muster, "Oh, you're sooo clever". He then said since he was so clever he was going to put a note in the computer to make sure I was called every day. So I said, "Let me ask you one last question before I hang up on you. Did your dirty [removed:lang]?"
Give these [***] hell, abuse them and waste their time. As they're trying to scam you out of your hard-earned money, they absolutely deserve it!
recorded message left on my answering machine in a voice that sounds just like one from last week from another #, which I reported to the FCC, and I'll report this one, too.
