have no idea who they are. Called me, didn't identify themselves wanted to know about them. When I asked what's it's about? Wouldn't tell me who they were. Correct procedure is the call identify who you are & what company your calling from, then ask for the person. sounds dodgy.
My current mobile number is my husbands previous number. Almost 5 years ago he got call about winning the 'free' holiday and told he'd just have to pay air fairs part way. Luckily we didn't have a credit card at the time as he's very gullible in reguards to this kind of thing and no doubt would have given it to them. He wa told they'd get back to him with other payment options but never hear back. Now I'm getting calls every day around the same time from this number asking to speak to my husband! At first I answered them, now I let them go to voice mail but they never leave a message. Very frustrating, wish they'd take the hint and bugger off.
Just had a call from this number. I said i wasnt here and asked them to leave a msg but they said no and hung up. So sick of spam calls that i dont like to answer my phone anymore.
I also received a phone call from this number. At first it was a woman, with an American accent, saying that I had filled in a survey for a Bahamas holiday and that I had won it. They then asked if I was single or married, which I replied I have a partner. They then asked me to put us both on speaker phone. I asked if it was free, they said there was a small fee. When I asked what the fee was for, someone else, a man also with an American accent, was put onto the phone, and he began saying the same things. I told him I thought it was a scam and he tried to tell me he would prove that it wasn't a scam 100%. Of course, I still didn't buy it, I told him I wasn't interested.
He insisted he would call another time when it was more suitable and the phone call ended. But I have blocked the number on my phone, so no more calls from this number.
Ugh! Same thing happened to me yesterday! A lady called saying that is won a trip to the Bahamas that I had entered a competition for. Then asked me if I was married and asked if I could put my husband on. I said he wasn't here so she asked if I could conference call him! I said no so she said she'd call back when we were both available... Now I know not to answer!
