I really like the idea presented by mk & since I used to deal with IRATE cx's as my day job, I really know how to fool someone into thinking I feel 1 way, while I actually feel another! These [***] call me daily. I live in Ontario & usually get a call from them by 10:15 am E.S.T. Since I am off tomorrow, I am going to take mk`s advice & string these fools along. In fact since I only work 3 nights a week (damn recession...Anyone hiring..LOL) I am going to do this DAILY & see what sort of records I can break, as far as how long I can keep THEM on the line! I dunno what they have for a long distance company, but Instead of wasting my energy getting angry at these dumb [***], I will attempt to turn the tables, & have some FUN with it! I wish I would have thought of this or read MK`s post earlier, as the idiots JUST CALLED...Hence the reason I am here right now! I dunno if you guys are in a similar situation as me (alot of free time ``UNWANTED``), but if we can get enough of us to do what I am going to do, it would accomplish 2 things at least. 1)We get some FREE ENTERTAINMENT & 2)By keeping someone on the line with us, we are preventing them from calling someone else during our time on the phone with them, like an elderly person, who doesn`t know better & could get scammed! So if ya have the time, have some FUN! Turn the tables on these jerkoffs!
they called with some automated credit card BS. I hit 1 to talk to someone and told them to put me on their do not call list...the b!tch said nothing and hung up on me..grrrr im getting rid of my home phone
Many phone calls from this automated caller - no call option seems to generate more insistent calls. I suspect they then sell your number as a "good one "
What is BCE /Telus doing to help us..... perhaps they want us all on cell phones..... why would they want that?
This number calls our home phone almost daily. The first time I listened to the recorded crap about lowering my credit card interest rates and pressed 1 to talk to a representative I was hung up on before I had the chance to say anything. Most recently, the person who answered said "Card services" and I said "hey - just got an 'urgent' message about my credit card interest rate - which of my credit cards are you referring to?" and the line went mute but was still connected. So knowing he was still listening I gave him a piece of my mind... then the line was disconnected. Every time I call the number back it's just a busy tone. They've also used 321-735-9690 but calling that one now says it's no longer in service.
this is a scam. If you have Bell phone service you can get a service to block numbers. It let's you list numbers that you don't want to allow through...like this one.
