Male caller with indian accent. He asked to speak to B__, (the name of my son who last lived with us over 25 years ago) . The caller wanted to alert B__ that the microsoft operating system on his computer was failing and likely to crash (incidentally, B_ has always used a mac). My guess is this is related to the recesntly disclosed database hack at UCLA where an incredibly large number of records were accessed. These likely included the records of B___, as we were informed in a letter from UCLA that dated July 17, 2015. So, if you might have been a patient at UCLA - even three decades ago - and hear an unfamiliar voice offering to help you fix a looming problem with your computer, think at least twice before providing this criminal (at least that is my opinion) with any information.
