YUP called my cell. Wasn't sure at first since our office lines rings over to my cell as well. Checked the phone records and found out that this idiot called my cell. Didn't answer and googled the number. Saw this page, and the moron is now blocked. Didn't leave a message and now won't be able to call again. Until our lovely phone companies out there allow these scammers to keep paying for new phone lines. I blame our phone companies period!!
Man called asking for a "sponsorship" to help disabled veterans returning from deployment. He knows my name, and knows I'm a veteran. He never said the name of his organization (if one even exists). As much as I want to help my fellow veterans, this does not seem like a legitimate call. It is best to avoid this number.
