I received a call from this number with an offer to lower my credit card rate. The robocaller said to dial 9 for more info which of course I did. When the woman answered she identified herself as being with credit card services and asked if I was calling about the reduced rate. I said yes and then asked why they would be calling me as i did not have any credit cards in my name. The woman quickly apologized and hung up. Attempts to call back to the phone # were unsuccessful as they do not go through.
Register on the "do not call list.
donotcall.gov it's free and if they keep calling file a complaint, but keep good records on time, date, and their number. I've been doing this for 3 years and it helped stop a lot of unwanted calls.
I received a call on my cell from this number regarding our current credit card to lower the rate. I was instructed to press 9, then was asked if I was responding to lowering my interest rate. When I asked this person what credit card they were referring to, she responded MC/Discover. When I started to ask another question, she hung up. I figure if I were eligible, my credit card company would contact me directly. Something needs to be done about these people. They call my home and my cell. I am registered with the Do Not Call List.
chad answered after pressing 9, giving me a hard time. told him to take me off their call list. he said they didn't have a call list. said 80% of the world has credit cards, i don't have any? told him NO. asked me if i was one of the 20% that doesn't have credit cards? i said YES. he said i wouldn't be getting that call if i didn't have credit cards. i told him several times i have ZERO credit cards, so there are NO rates for him to be lowering! he just kept on - i don't have a sister (living with me??) a wife, anyone living with me with credit cards.
they just don't take no for an answer. told him several times to take me off their call list, always had a question, like, "you're one of the 20% who doesn't have a credit card?" like i was BS'ing him.
I AM ALREADY ON THE DO NOT CALL LIST, HAVE RESIGNED UP SEVERAL TIMES A YEAR SINCE IT CAME OUT
these ppl are annoying they call everyday day .I have never dialed them back my phone is currently having probs thanks to Frontier.Our phone light comes on but theres not dial tone or sound..lol.it's been 5 days of waiting for them to come fix it.I am now getting Skype.# that called 323-204-6190
