I would be very careful with this number. Not only did I get the same call as described above, but I believe a second person was on the line. The minute I heard the second caller, Darlene said "Well, sorry for bothering you." and hung up. My instinct is that this is some type of phone scammer, so I'd watch out.
Received a call on my cell phone at 9:58 A.M. today (the day before x-mas). I don't know who they are for real, but ever since I stupidly wrote down my real cell phone number when I filled out the registration paperwork at a WorldMark Time Share Condo I've been getting these calls from 'out of the blue' shady companies. I've gotten calls from aggressive debt collectors, fake attorneys offices saying I owe them money & fake law enforcement organizations. I have no doubt all of these calls are a result of me writing down my real cell # at that time share condo that my father in law let us stay at for free for 3 days. So, don't trust World Mark Condos with your real personal information or much less any one else these days. Thank you very much 800 Notes!
Caller asked for Alma. Initially, I thought it was another debt collector calling so I informed the lady that there was no such named person at my cell phone number which is a California number. I live in Washington. Then the request began for a donation for a person with breast cancer that could not pay for her medical care. I immediately recognized this as a scam call and I informed the caller that I was not interested in making a donation to an unknown entity. She was very polite and the call was terminated.
Received a call from this number this morning (12/29/15). Female caller asking for head of household, I told her they were not here. I asked her who is calling, she didn't answer, and irritatedly said she'll call back later. Most likely a scam.
