Got a call from this number and they did not identify who they were looking for and stated that there was a lawsuit against my SSN, that I should call back for case details as this is time sensitive and to have a blessed day. No reputable collection agency will say those things and if there really was a lawsuit you would receive written documentation from an actual court that you would have to sign for. This is 100% Scam.
On my caller ID the # 202-666-3040 appears, I did not answer but they left the message about the suit and to call them back at the 323-244-2927 number. I Google both numbers, found nothing about the 202 number except it is in Washington DC. But the 323 number had a lot written about it, and it is a California number. Why does an east coast number appear on caller ID?

I just called them back and threatened to kill the dumb [***]. He got mad and starting cussing and and blew his cover right away. The thing is I'm going to find out where they are and kill every one of these zipper heads.
