My mom received the same voicemail saying they will be out with the sheriffs and to have 2 forms of ID ready when I called the lady provided me with my social security number and placed me on hold. I knew that it was fishy they would call my moms phone and ask for me? I don't know who to contact now that they have my personal information.
Got a phone call from this number 323-275-4433, they were calling for my sister which was kind of scary because they said she had a court summons. My sister has never been in trouble so I just couldn't imagine what she could have done. After speaking with my sister she said they were calling her too and they were saying that they coming to her home to serve her court papers. This really scared her, and no one showed up. After looking up this phone number we realize that they are scam artists. Please be aware of this phone number and do not give out your information.
Got a call looking for my exwife and said a summons was going to be served from ***** County. This is a scam. I turned it over to the Sheriff's fraud department. Phone #323-275-4433, is the number this came from.
If they continue to bother you, and you know you do not owe any money, tell them that you know this is a debt scam and that you are making a complaint to the police for extortion. You might have to yell at the scammer and talk over him or her. Once you get a copy of the police report and they call you again , just read out the file number and the name of the PD or Sheriff’s office involved. Tell them you’ll be glad to send a copy to them at whatever address the jack***es are working out of now.
Left message saying it was "Sarah Mitchell, independent process server...Ventura County....legal services...court summons for 11/4/15. Call 323-275-4433 if we don't know what it's about or an error. She must receive a 'stand down order' or will appear with the County Sheriff for summons". I don't even live in CA, but used to, and for a moment thought it was legit and that I'd better get in touch. Then I thought I'd better check it out first. Glad I did!!!!! Had to listen to the message several times to understand her...she spoke very rapidly and not clearly.
