I use to work for "Tristar Entertainment Network" as an appointment setter, back in 2008, for a few months everything was normal, after a few months things were starting to change the owner changed the name to "Universal Model and Actors" many calls started to come in complaining about their money pictures, etc... after a few months company's name changed again to "UMA Talent", same problem complains about money head shots, pictures or whatnot...I left right after (2009), I wasn't comfortable working in a negative atmosphere....Up to today I see they are still going by the name of "Cornerstone", not sure if by the same owner or by a new one, In my point of view it's a new owner. I called the "office number" 323-315-9484 and yeep same people working there "Veronica" know her very well, she wears a turban on her head, Caucasian, heavy body. In conclusion, I don't want people to waist their time and money with this "company" just try to avoid it and in a nice way say no thank you.
Right now I have a WAY better job! I'm very happy there :), offers benefits, full time employee, not like before, I would win by commissions and deductions =/. NOT COOL!

All the positive blogs is Deanna and her assistant Vernoica!!! There is NOOOO way anyone left there happy or satisfied and I know that for a fact, because I use to work there! I didnt get fired I didnt get terminated and I did my job very well! The reason for me leaving was to get back to school! Do you know who this is Deanna?? I hope you do, cause even though I asisted you majority of the times I never liked you or what that company was doing! You guys are all thieves in your own little way! I was one of the girls on the phone making appointments for you supposed wishful actors and actress to come in for an audition! Let me tell you this Deanna pays someone to walk around colleges and malls and events and just say you have the look even though you dont (sorry) and callers like myself call you to come because you where "scouted"!! Now when you come in thats where devil Deanna tells you that she has all these agents she works with and blah blah blah and makes you memorize a vitamin water thing for no reason just to later work you up in to buying headshots and more shots and more shots! ITS ALL A GAME AND YOU ARE THE LOSER!!!! I really wanna apoligize to all the wishful appointments I made for you wishful people out there! But please look out for her and anyone else scamming you to buy pictures! DONT DO IT!! You dont need pictures you need a strong person to represent you and trust me Deanna nor Veronica are even close to that! I see from the blogs that they moved to Gower Studios, they use to be at 6464 Sunset Bl. very very very nice building! Dont let the location fool you specially Gower Studios! I know there is alot of filming going on there but that has nothing to do with her! Anyone and I mean anyone can call Gower Studios and rent a spot there and feel that they are importnat because they are next to some set! But the reality is that she has nothing to do with any of those sets or filmings going on! They are just a huge scam and one day everyone part of it will be in jail! Just stop supporting there scam with your hard earned money! Dont let the big looks and the big words fool you! And dont get excited when you hear from them everyone does and everyone is made to feel special till they spend thousands and then you will never hear from them again and if you do it will be once a year just to tell you that she is trying but no one wants you all of a sudden!!! Of course Cornerstone did not guarantee you any work. Nobody can do that. This isn’t Disneyworld where you buy a ticket and are promised a ride; this is a business!

Well seems like all liars and money [***] will eventually get caught if you have any sense please do your research and see how this operation works but please do not pay for any photos up front any where you will get burned some have badly from this company.
