if you want to make these blood suckers stop calling, do what I did. call the number back and then put it on hold and call again and conference call them together. its quite funny listing to them talk to each other. after a few days of doing this they block your number. it works!
This company is a scam. I've paid the debt they are trying to collect. I called and disputed the debt. They then forwarded the account to their dispute department where I'm told I must dispute the debt.... which I already did... this is bogus... don't even try to work with them.. they are con artists. If I ever see someone who says they work for this company... God help him or her.
Call from a debt collector that specializes in purchasing debts that are no longer within the statute of limitations, and hope to prey on those who cannot defend themselves. If you aren't sure if you have a debt that is enforceable, a quick internet search can tell you if your debt is within the statute of limitations for your state (ranges from 4 to 15 years). The only way to get this to educate yourself, and be prepared to fight back when they call. All you need to do is send them a certified letter stating that you want them to cease and desist from contacting you, or anyone else about your debt. If they continue their harassment beyond the receipt of your letter, you can sue them to the tune of $1000.00 per violation. Keep your records, and call and experienced attorney if you find yourself in this situation.
