I have been getting at least 1 call per month by an alleged DEA agent. The area codes vary, but the story is always the same. The fastest way I have found to relieve the stress of a hectic day is to have fun with them. I normally start laughing, and ask them "how many poor [***] actually fall victim to your scam?' When they start talking, I cut them off and demand to know how the hell they live with themselves? Some continue with the same blah blah, but usually they just hang up.
The latest was a call from Colorado, no accent at all. Last month is was from somewhere in Washington state, no accent. I can almost predict when they will be calling, as I get a phone call a day or two before from some unknown person trying to sell me rx. I regret the day 7 years ago when I ordered tramadol from an online pharmacy. On the positive side, I get to have fun with a scammer on a monthly basis!

"Thomas Harrigan" called my house a few minutes ago and really had me really scared at first. Said all the same things Very Pissed says – from 2007! After I realized he wouldn’t let me be a minute not on the phone with him, I figured out he didn’t want me to be able to check it out. Kept threatening if I was wasting his time when he has so much to do he was going to let them just come and arrest me. (Cuz there is a warrant out for my arrest and they want to come right now but he was able to stop them since I answered the phone.)
So I started crying hysterically and said I had to go to the bathroom and be sick and I would call him back. He said put the phone down and he would wait. I told him I have IBS and I’ll be making really loud sounds with diarrhea and I just couldn’t do that. So he agreed I could call him back. Then I googled and found this website right off and got really pissed.
He called back in about 3 minutes and I answered the phone with a very weak voice and said “911, the door is unlocked.” He said very quickly and in a very alarmed voice -- "what??? You don’t have to be scared, you’re one of the lucky ones , most are in jail right now– calm down, everything is okay….." I told him very weakly and broken that I was having a heart attack I had called 911 and the ambulance is on its way. Then I dropped the phone and made a bunch of heart attack noises (whatever those are?) choking sounds, gasping sounds, groaning…. That kind of stuff. He quickly hung up! Think he’ll call back?
Just the same – I am going to report this because it’s outrageous and he/they should be in jail! Thanks everyone, for writing this online so I could find it so quickly!!!
Got a call from this guy and i was playing along for 12 minutes and finally hung up on him. Called the number back but won't accept call. Should report to the DEA.
I got a call form this idiot... he is or sounds like the same guy from another area code that called me a couple of months ago--
he threatens and wont let you put him on hold-- its really funny. But if you didnt know it could be scary.... I kept saying... to myself.. ohhh I better not say this or that in case it really is DEA but ... just incase... I mean... say you start cursing them out and it is the DEA hahahahaha
well its not and please dont fall victom to this... Thhey will eventually always ask you to wire money to the dominican republic.... I told him--- I would come to him give me the address I said... ill come to you...
JERK!! FUNNY THING Is i keep getting calls from a 980 area code telling me they are calling about my rx . I told them 123678908765432 times to take me off their dumb a$$ list... my thoughts are they are working together-- if you dont buy their meds then you get the call from the fake dea agent--- I WANT TO BLOCK THEIR NUMBER... I WILL TURN THEM IN=---

I also got call from this fake DEA agent. I was not scared just pissed. what dea agency calls you to tell you that you are going to be arrested??? Not. But its clearly a scam for something...just dont know what yet. this should be stoped by the right authorities. Ill look into this.
Just received a call from fake DEA agent Thomas Harrigan. Extremely rude and arrogant. Knows personal information and claims I am going to be arrested for ordering medication online. Demanding I bring $2750 cash to a random address in Santa Clarita, CA in order to have charges dropped. When I mentioned getting an attorney, he said the deal is off if legal counsel is involved. Then when I stated I was skeptical about the validity of the call, he basically said this was the real deal and if I wasn't willing to bring the cash to the location, he was sending DEA agents to my office to arrest me.
