I'm glad I googled the number, cause its been calling me for the past week or two, never leaving a message, sometimes it comes up as unknown on my caller id as well, but it stayed on the line long enough to leave me a 2 second silent voicemail, so I noticed the connection between the number and all the unknown calls i've been getting.. I called them back after reading your posts here, and she wouldn't tell me why other than "we're fundraising, i'll put you on our do no call list" and then hung up on me.. I'm tempted to call them and cancel my monthly donation, that's pretty irritating..
I've been getting this for days. This trick works on all automated calls. Thanks to the late Andy Rooney, take the call , then press the star key repeatedly...A LOT....it is the same sound as an invalid number to the computer automated system and will automatically delete the number from the computer database. I kept ignoring the call, and it kept calling. So I answered it, did the star punch and I havent had it call for 3 days now. Hope this helps everyone else. And pass this trick on...it truely works.
CID says "Donor Services". Number shown is 323-330-1425. Many calls from this number, no message left. We don't answer calls from unknown to us callers. Simple common sense tells me that Donor Services is blatant code of they would like to have something from us. Best obvious guess is Money. Not interested will be blocking them.
