This number is for the NPCA (National parks Conservation Association). My wife and I have given them money in the past, but only via written correspondence. I just called the same number back, and told them this practice of calling us multiple times a day has revoked their monetary privileges. They will no longer be getting money from us.
Anyway....I asked them to remove my number from their call list, and they told me that I "was all set." I'll report back in a few days if it worked or not.
Received several calls in the last few days. We have distinctive ring tone set-up for friends and family, so we never answer calls with "normal" ring tones.
Caller ID says NPCA. According to google, this is National Parks Conservation Association. Well, I support preserving the national parks and have donated to the cause, as recently as 2 months ago. But, if they keep calling, they will not get any more donation out of me. Their loss for rude, unsolicited calls.

This will show several options like "contact us, what we do, magazine, and 3 or 4 more links, or you can open their home page by clicking on the web site..After a dozen unknown calls or more I dug into it and came up with this info..My thought is that they make a bazillion calls a day and use an auto dialer which will sort out non answering or answering machines. This will cause a delay in a real person on the other end. Hope this helps..B.
