Well, there is certainly a lot of agitation on the subject of phone calls. The National Parks Conservation Assn is a good cause, and it certainly should be supported- phone calls or no phone calls. Why the haughty attitudes here? Getting a phone call is not the end of the world. Are you so busy with your incredibly productive life that someone who is trying to assist us to protect our parks can't give you a phone call and get in communication? I don't answer these calls unless I want to- we can see who it is these days. Give them a break- at least they're trying to protect our natural resources.
I called them back at the same number they called me from (and it was the National Parks Conservation Society that answered) and asked them to stop calling. They very politely took my phone number and said that I will be removed from their list. Hopefully that's all it takes!
