Got a call from this number and they left me a message stating that they were from the IRS and I am being sued so please call them back. When I returned the call it was a male subject with a middle eastern accent. He needed my name, zip code and date of birth. I asked him if I called the IRS number from the internet if they would tell me that it was a legitimate call. He told me, go ahead, why don't you do that. He was very rude.....
I also had a call from this number in early June and they said they would arrest me if I did not pay $7906 immediately. And that they had to record our whole conversation for the courthouse and if I hung up that someone would show up at my doorstep immediately to arrest me. They too had a foreign accent. All 4 people they transferred me around to. They were very threatening on the phone. I caught on when they said they wanted me to go to Walgreens and buy two iTunes gift cards for $500 each....it was very strange it was like they were asking me for ransom or something. I caught on and hung up on them but I could see where someone more vulnerable might believe them out of fear because they were extremely threatening in their phone call to me. I reported it to the Federal Trade Commission.
