This person repeatedly calls my number asking to speak with someone I don't know. When I tell ask for information about who's calling, and explain that he has the wrong number, he YELLS at me and calls me and idiot. When I asked him to speak to a supervisor, he told me he was the only person who worked there and refuses to give his name. Then continued yelling over me, and said he wouldn't allow me to speak until I APOLOGIZED. This person is insane and I am reporting him to the police.
Got a call from LDA law group supposedly based out of LA saying they tried to send us a subpoena... Never heard of them before and they are bogus claims. Guy was very rude and had wrong information... I got the number for the lady that called me and it was 844-515-8189. UGH.
Fraudulent or Zombie Debt Collectors—Things to Know
If you have received a call stating:
1. You have defrauded a financial institution
2. You owe an unpaid payday loan
3. You have a warrant due to an unpaid loan
5. You will receive a court summons
6. Authorities are coming to arrest you
7. Anything similar to above,
a. Do not give them any information or verify any information for them
b. Tell them you know they are a scam operating illegally and that you are filing a complaint with the appropriate authorities
* File a complaint with the FBI on their Internet Crime webpage http://www.ic3.gov/default.aspx
* File a complaint with the Attorney General for the state you live in
The more information and complaints there are, the better the chance of getting these criminals to stop (or at least reduce the frequency).
They continue to bother you, tell them you are going to the police to make a complaint of extortion.
Called looking for my mother...then asked for my father because they are "being sued".
Told them I could not help them.
Got mad when I refused to give any info and I began to laugh "why are you laughing you don't want to help your parents!?"

I received a phone call stating that my parents were being sued for a debt. The man offered me a "ridiculous"
deal to pay off my parents debt. My parents filed bankruptcy on this debt over 3 years ago so there is no way this is legit. Now I need to figure out how to get them to leave me along.
This guy calls my daughter this morning, making it sound like something bad happened to me, she hangs up and calls me, then he turns around and calls my son, harassing him calling me his wife, all the wrong info. My son tears him a new one. Then he calls my sister in Hawaii of all places, says she needs to tell me to be at this address between 9-5 tomorrow court papers are being delivered. My sister says he called her my daughter, she pretended like she didnt even know me. Called me, not knowing I was who he was looking for, so I asked him a lot of questions, I may know her, what do you want with her? He doesnt want to tell me anything, he just wants me to verify all my info, ssn#, address, phone numbers, work info, when I refused to give him any info, he just got rude and hung up.
