This person repeatedly calls my number asking to speak with someone I don't know. When I tell ask for information about who's calling, and explain that he has the wrong number, he YELLS at me and calls me and idiot. When I asked him to speak to a supervisor, he told me he was the only person who worked there and refuses to give his name. Then continued yelling over me, and said he wouldn't allow me to speak until I APOLOGIZED. This person is insane and I am reporting him to the police.

Some Tips:
*Keep all messages
*Take a picture of your Caller ID
*Keep any and all conversations recorded to your states recording laws, some require they be told, others do not. This can be transferred to a recording device.
*Keep a notebook handy for writing time, date, who you spoke with and what the conversation detailed.
*Check your SOL for your state as well.
*Attorneys need to be licensed as a DC to collect, all DC's must be licensed in their state as well as yours if different.

Same thing happened to me. Anthony James was his name. Proceded to tell me I was being sued but could take care if the matter if I'd pay it today. Wanted credit card. I refused. Told him I'd call him back. He then called me like 4 times in a row. I finally answered told him I needed him to email me documentation. He did but when I googled Tue address it didnt show up so I told him OK I'm on my way to pay you but can't seem to find yr office. He says please hold while I get my manager. Some other guy gets on phone and tells me that I can't do that they don't accept walk in payments because they're in a secure location. I told him liar yr a scammer. He then cussed me out. I haven't heard back frm them
