robocall from "Breast Cancer Research" to my private unlisted do-not-call mobile number that has never been shared with ANY organization. Asked for me by my first name. I said I was not that individual, and the robot then went into a spiel on breast cancer research while I explained simultaneously my displeasure at being called on my private unlisted number. The robot did not listen to me so I hung up and blocked the number.
Called and ask if I could donate to them to support breast cancer survivors when I asked how she got my number she said they usually buy phone numbers from 3rd parties, I am like just great so much for confidentiality :-(
missed call, didn't leave a message, I'm not planning on calling back since other callers are saying it's a fundraising center. sounds like some sort of scam :)
